Let me get this straight.
Michael Jackson, Farah Fawcett, and Ed McMahon are all dead.
Keith Olbermann is fine and all we can manage for Perez Hilton is a much deserved and well overdue beating?
Life really isn't fair.

For the record, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are still among the living, too. Indeed, life can be cruel.

The more things change....
I'll have to take your word for it that those two are still alive. I haven't heard or watched them in years. However, due to the lack of any celebratory coverage from the MSM I would figure that you are correct.
After all the entire media is always supposed to advocate the same political viewpoint. At least that is what I was told by my social studies teacher in public school.
Remember, Bill Maher wishing Dick Cheney dead is ok and funny. Joking that someone hasn't yet felt violent feelings at a hateful (and mostly unwatched) TV Commentator is not ok. It's just sad how things are today.

C'mon, Limbaugh and Hannity are *part* of the MSM, too. They both enjoy huge ratings and can't possibly claim to be outside of the mainstream. The media has changed dramatically since your school days -- there are now plenty of talking heads on both sides.
But for the record, I've always thought that Bill Maher is an unfunny, mean-spirited jerk.

Disagree on Maher. Loved his show Politically Incorrect. He did a great job and actually had a balance of views. The Real Time show is awful but because of the rabid and radical studio audience. Even though he leans far left I can appreciate that he does have some funny content.
Anyways, the point is humor should be ok even when myself (or others) don't agree with the message. It's only fun when it cuts both ways. If it is always one sided it becomes very lame very quickly.
